The research instrument was Psychological Flexibility Scale. The two experimental groups received treatment for eight sessions, and the control group did not receive any treatment. Data were analyzed through analysis of variance with repeated measures.
Results: The results of this study indicated that the difference between mean scores of control group and the mentalization and dialectical behavior therapy groups was significant (p<0.05). however, it was indicated that the difference between mean scores of the two groups of mentalization therapy and dialectical behavior therapy was not significant (p>0.05).
Conclusion: It can be concluded that both treatment methods are effective inincreasing psychological flexibility in nurses experiencing mental fatigue problems. In addition, there is no difference between the effectiveness of mentalization therapy and dialectical behavior therapy on psychological flexibility of these nurses.
