The data were collected using the standard questionnaires of demographic information, the interpersonal empathy, and the nurse-patient empathy by self-reporting and were analyzed by SPSS version 26. A significance level of 0.05 was considered.</span></span></span></span></span></pre> <div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:10pt"><span style="background:white"><span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="line-height:normal"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><b>Results:</b> The results showed that the overall score of nurses&#39; interpersonal empathy and nurse&#39;s empathy with patients were 144.25&plusmn;34.34, 64.11&plusmn;8.34, respectively, which is in the middle range of the scores of the questionnaires. Also, the results of Pearson correlation test showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between the total score of nurses&#39; interpersonal empathy and the total score of nurse-patient empathy.
